Sunday Scaries
Hey, Friends!
Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend has been nothing short of fabulous—mine certainly has been! Arizona has been blessed with rain these past few days, and like a sponge, I’ve been soaking up every precious drop. When I was younger, I remember the rain coming down more frequently, lasting longer, and sometimes even coming down harder. Maybe it’s just the vividness of my youthful memories, or perhaps the desert's weather patterns have shifted over the years. Either way, rain in the desert is a rare and wonderful gift. Let’s not take it for granted, and here’s hoping we’ll see a glorious monsoon season this year!
But enough about the weather—I know you didn’t come here to read a rain report! Today, I want to talk about something that many of us feel every Sunday evening: Sunday Scaries.
If you haven’t heard the term before, I’m sure you’ve felt the emotion. Sunday Scaries are those little fears, worries, and anxieties that creep in as we start thinking about the week ahead. Whether it's school, work, or just the busyness of life, weekends are meant to recharge our batteries and prepare us to face the week with energy and optimism. But for some of us—including myself—those Sunday night jitters can make us long for just a little more time curled up at home, savoring the weekend’s final moments.
So, how do we tackle the Sunday Scaries and march into the week feeling ready to conquer anything? The goal is to walk into Monday with our heads held high, confidence shining, and a smile that can light up the room! To help you do just that, I’m kicking off a new series.
