This Week’s Victory: Productivity

Hey, friends!

It’s crucial to celebrate your wins—no matter how big or small—when they happen.

This is something I’ve struggled with for a while. I often found myself comparing my successes to those of my friends or family, and at times, my wins didn’t feel as significant. As a result, I’d either downplay them or act like they didn’t matter. But now, I can confidently say: every win is a win! Whether it’s in academics, sports, or any other area of life, it counts.

The same applies to your tutoring sessions. A baby step in the right direction is still progress. Learning isn’t always linear (you’ve probably heard the term “learning curve”), and that’s perfectly okay! When you answer a question correctly, earn a great quiz score, or finally master a tricky concept you’ve been working on, it’s worth celebrating. I’m here to celebrate every win with you, so don’t be shy—tell me about your victories!

As for my win of the week, it’s productivity. Personally, I have a hard time starting and finishing tasks in one go. But this week, things seem to be clicking into place, and I’ve been more productive than usual! I don’t know how long this streak will last, but I’m certainly going to celebrate it while it’s here. I’ll be here weekly to share my wins and to hear about yours.
